Modern Times album for sale I know a few Starship songs, but this one holds my favorite one "Find Your Way Back"! This whole record rocks! Starship is a famous band, but most of their best songs never made it as a hit! I dont see why most of these songs never made it on the charts!!! By sss (Calofornia).

If you're a Jefferson Starship fan like me you'll be very happy with this CD. This in my opinion was one of their best albums (along with Modern Times) I have been wanting both of these albums on CD for awhile now and at least i found this one. Sounds great + I love it .

Modern Times was used as an album title by a variety of artists from jazz to folk to country, but despite its moments, this Modern Times, its predecessor Freedom at Point Zero, and its successors, Winds of Change and Nuclear Furniture, became the antithesis of the works of art which are Dragon Fly, Red Octopus, Earth, and Spitfire.

Grace Slick never sounded better than on Modern Times. The chilling vocal on "Stranger" brings back memories of the powerful vocals that Grace delivered on hits with the Airplane. This album brought the band back to the forefront of the rock scene and was a precursor to "Winds of Change" which was the last of the true hard rock albums for the band.
