- SamusarThey self-released an EP of songs, 'Bicycle', and gave it away on their summer /95 tour of NSW and Queensland. Radio station Triple J received a copy of the 'Bicycle' EP on Christmas Day and put the lead track "Mr Natural" on immediate heavy rotation.
- KerThe day was a roaring success and the well-known rock magazine “Go Set” was there who advertised the event and were highly impressed with Pirana’s performance. David Woodley Page and John Taylor engineered the first album, co produced by myself, with invaluable contributions from all four-band members, was recorded at E.M.I.’s Sydney.

It would be displaced the following day by the soundtrack to The Sound of Music.. , The Beach Boys started a two week run at number one on the US singles chart with “Help Me Rhonda,” the group’s second US chart topper. , The Move, Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience.
